Every August, as the long summer days begin to fade, we gather our Tumble Tikes families for one of our favorite traditions — our Annual End-of-Summer Luau. It’s our way of saying mahalo for another season of growth, play, and friendship, and last year’s celebration was nothing short of magical.

The moment families walked through the doors, they were welcomed into a tropical paradise. Brightly colored leis draped around little necks, the sound of island music filled the air, and the gym was bursting with palm leaves, vibrant decorations, and the energy of excited children. Many arrived dressed in grass skirts, flower crowns, and even Moana-inspired outfits, ready to dive into the fun.

Throughout the evening, the laughter never stopped. Kids twirled hula hoops with determination, giggled their way through limbo lines, and zipped across obstacle courses transformed into island adventures. At the craft tables, tiny hands worked busily, creating ocean-themed treasures to take home. Parents joined in the joy — snapping photos, sharing smiles, and even attempting a hula dance or two.
Of course, no luau is complete without delicious treats. Our snack table overflowed with tropical-inspired goodies — fruity skewers, colorful cupcakes, and cool refreshing drinks. Between bites, kids dashed back into the action, determined not to miss a single moment of fun.

What makes this event so special each year isn’t just the games or the decorations — it’s the feeling of togetherness. Our luau has become a beloved way for families to connect, celebrate, and reflect on a summer well spent. It’s a night when the Tumble Tikes community shines its brightest, filled with laughter, hugs, and memories that carry us into the school year.
And the best part? This year’s luau is just around the corner! We can’t wait to welcome you back for another unforgettable evening of island fun. Get ready for even more games, festive treats, and a few magical surprises. Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 21st, from 5–7 PM — and don’t forget your aloha spirit.
Reserve your spot today and join us as we say aloha to summer in the most joyful way we know!
